Fujitsu has announced plans to target the European and North American markets.
The Japanese electronics giant is launching a range of Android and Windows Phone tablets and smartphones in the territories, reports The Financial Times.
Full details of the upcoming hardware are yet to be revealed, though reports suggest that the devices will be equipped with NFC, LTE connectivity and biometric security.

Fujitsu showcased a prototype model of its Tegra 3 quad-core smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, but it is yet to be confirmed whether the company plans to launch the device in the West.
"The Japanese market has been in a silo from a technology and design perspective, but Fujitsu is bringing out a global product," said Robert Pryke, director for Fujitsu's mobile phone business in Europe.
Fujitsu claims to have already held talks with operators in Europe about supporting its devices, sparking rumours that it could present new hardware at The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month.
