The 8.99mm Android device, which boasts 17.6 hours of talk time, was previously released in North America bearing the name Droid Razr Maxx.
Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, the handset features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display and an 8MP camera with full HD video capabilities. Its 3,300mAh battery offers more than 16 hours of video playback from a single charge.
The Motorola Razr Maxx is almost identical to the US model, though 4G support has been dropped due its unavailability in Britain. The European model is also marginally thicker to support a more powerful battery.
Earlier today, it was reported that Motorola faces two investigations from the European Commission over its patent lawsuits against Apple and Microsoft.
The Motorola Razr Maxx will be available in the UK in May. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
