James Franco has teamed up with Samsung to promote the firm's Galaxy Note 10.1.
The 127 Hours actor has directed and starred in a video advertisement for the Android hybrid device, demonstrating its unique features.
Franco strolls about his house in the clip, taking down memos using the Galaxy Note 10.1's S pen stylus, showing off its camera capabilities, and demoing its built-in editing software.
Billed as a middle ground between tablet and smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was released earlier this month. The device features a 10.1-inch screen, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and Google's Android 4.0 operating system.
Equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, the tablet boasts a 3-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel camera on the front for video calls.
A multi-screen feature makes it possible to run two different applications side by side simultaneously, such as browsing web pages while also watching a video.
Samsung is expected to add a new product to its Galaxy Note line at Berlin's IFA electronics trade fair on August 29.
