The super-slim laptop PC measures in at just 19.7mm thick, but boasts high-end specs and a 15-inch full HD display.
Powered by a third-generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and an Nvidia GT650M graphics engine, the U500VZ comes with a range of storage options including dual SSDs.
Asus also showcased the Windows 8-powered Asus Zenbook Prime UX21A Touch at IFA, the first addition to the range to incorporate touch-screen technology.
The laptop features an HD super IPS+ screen and a 256GB SSD, with a 3rd generation Intel Core processor running the show.
Asus is yet to announce a release date for its new PCs, but they are expected to be launched around the same time as Windows 8 in October.
