The Xperia T series will be featured in the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall, released at cinemas on October 26.

It will contain a 4.6" HD Reality Display, with a 13MP fast capture camera and full 1080p HD video recording and 720p HD front camera.

The Xperia J model will come in a 9.2mm slim design, with a large 4.0" FWVGA display and 5MP camera.

Meanwhile, the Xperia Tablet S joins the growing tablet market, and comes with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and Android 4.0.3 operating system.

The Xperia T will launch in September, while the Xperia J will be released in late 2012.

Sony Mobile President Kunimasa Suzuki said: "This year's IFA marks an important milestone for Sony and Sony Mobile Communications.

"Xperia smartphones are at the heart of Sony's mobile strategy of delivering a consistent user experience across devices, enabling consumers to easily and quickly access the world of entertainment that Sony delivers."

The Xperia J smartphone project was previously leaked by a Russian website earlier this month.
