Maintenance to cause major ntl outage

Major maintenance on ntl's internet operations is set to disrupt internet access services provided by the cable giant between 0100 and 0230hrs on November 13.

Paul, an ntl:home technical support representative, posted the following announcement on ntl.announce:

ntl: home internet customers may experience connectivity issues between the hours of 01.00am - 02.30am on the 13.11.01.

As part of the planned maintenance customers may experience connectivity problems with:

• Cable Modem connectivity
• Dial-Up authentication
• Email services
• Newsgroup services
• ntl: homepage
• ntl: user webspace.
