Virgin Media to launch on February 8

Marketing activities for Virgin Media will start this weekend, it was confirmed today.
A poster campaign and a series of TV ads will introduce the new brand, which replaces the NTL and Telewest names, over the coming days. Virgin Media will then fully launch on Thursday, February 8.
The new-look Virgin TV EPG is being tentatively rolled out to a limited number of customers in the run up to launch day. After February 8, the new EPG will roll out on a wider basis but a company spokesperson emphasised to DS that "it will be a roll-out, not an instant launch."
