Apple threw down the gauntlet at the lower end of the tablet market with the launch of the iPad Mini, which is expected to do battle with Google's newly refreshed Nexus 7 line.
Google recently announced that it is expanding Google Play in various territories next month, with a range of new content providers on board, and its vast music store opening up to customers in Europe on November 13.
The Nexus 10, Nexus 4 and new 32GB models of the Nexus 7 will also be released on November 13.
