The Belkin Car Charger for Lightning, a refresh of one of the firm's previous releases, is with compatible with iPhone 5, iPad mini, iPad 4th generation, iPod touch 5th generation and iPod nano 7th generation.

Belkin's Charge + Sync Dock is only compatible with the iPhone 5, connecting with it by feeding an existing Apple Lightning cable through a back channel. The accessory comes with a removable magnetic base, input for headphones or speakers, and a foldaway AUX jack.

"Belkin was the first third-party manufacturer to develop accessories for the 30-pin connector back in 2003, and we are thrilled to be first to market again with solutions for the new Lightning connector," said Belkin general manager Martin Avila.

"People are eager for Lightning accessories and Belkin's give them a reliable way to keep their new iPhone 5, iPad 4th generation, iPad mini or iPod touch charged, protected, and ready to go."

The Car Charger and Charge + Sync Dock will launched in the US priced at $29.99. Pricing for other territories is yet to be announced.
