The Spotify rival has opened up its application programme interface to developers in a bid to bolster the service and bring increased competition to its Swedish counterpart.
Several Deezer apps have already been confirmed, including the Twitter-powered radio service Twusic, track mixer edjing, and Spotizr, which allows subscribers to import Spotify playlists.
Deezer is working on a host of other improvements to its service, including substantial updates to its iOS and Android apps and enhanced Facebook integration.
Spotify launched its own dedicated apps service in November last year when the Scandinavian firm announced its intention to become a fully-fledged music platform.
Deezer is appealing to developers to submit apps for approval via its website.
