The device features a five-inch full HD touchscreen display and boasts a powerful 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM.
Packing a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with full HD video functionality, the phone is capable of shooting photos at 120 frames per second. A 1.9-megapixel camera resides on the front.
Other features include Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, DIRAC HD sound technology, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 16GB of onboard storage.
Oppo is yet to confirm whether the handset will be compatible with 4G network or come with microSD card support, though the latter feature is expected.
The Oppo Find 5 smartphone will debut in China priced at 2,998 Renminbi (£297), with an overseas release expected to be announced in the near future.
