Powered by an unspecified 1.2GHz, the 5-inch device sports a similar form factor to the Galaxy S3 Mini and features a 800 x 480 WVGA display.
The handset also features a 8-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper and 8GB of on-board storage, as well as micro SD support and a Multi Window mode for multi-tasking.
Running off a 2,100mAh battery, the phone comes with Google's Android 4.1.2 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system preloaded.
A dual-SIM version of the device has been confirmed, suggesting it will launch in the Asian market, but release details are yet to be officially confirmed by Samsung.
Samsung is expected to formally unveil the Galaxy Grand at CES 2013, which runs between January 8 and 11 in Las Vegas.
