The 9.7-inch slate has been touted as an alternative to the current-generation iPad, boasting a screen resolution similar to the Apple device's Retina display.
Running off a 1.6GHz dual-core A9 processor, a quad-core Mali 400 MP4 GPU and 1GB of RAM, the 97 Titanium HD tablet features a 2048x1536 IPS display and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Other hardware features include 8GB of internal storage, microSD support, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.
Archos announced a range of tablet devices in 2012, including the 116 XS, the ultra-slim 101 XS and the GamePad portable video gaming system.
The company is yet to announce pricing or a release date for the 97 Titanium HD.
