Taiwanese site SonyXP lists the flagship Android device for release in two months time, with a price tag that translates to around £400.
The Xperia Z has been the subject of much speculation and numerous leaks. What appeared to be an official press shot of the phone appeared on Sony's Japanese website earlier this week, along with an image of a phone dubbed the Xperia ZL.
Previous reports suggest the high-end Xperia Z will be waterproof, dust-resistant and measure in at 139 x 71 x 7.9mm. A five-inch display and a 12-megapixel camera are also expected to be included.
Believed to be in development under the codename of Yuga, the handset will reportedly be capable of hosting images in 1920 x 1080, backed up by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM.
Sony is expected to showcase the new handsets at either this month's Consumer Electronics Show or the Mobile World Congress in February.
