Global channel shipments of the Galaxy S have passed 24m, including 10m of these during the first seven months after the phone's launch in June 2010.
The Galaxy S2 has reached 40m shipments, with 10m global sales in just five months after its release in April 2011.
The latest Galaxy S3 achieved 20m global channel sales in just 100 days after its launch in May 2012, making it Samsung's fastest-ever selling smartphone. The S3 has now passed 40m unit channel sales.
This spring, Samsung is expected to introduce its new Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone.
The handset will reportedly have a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core processor, a 13-megapixel camera and a smaller bezel than the S3.
