MediaFire does not offer batch-upload option of folder syncing like rival services such as Dropbox, but it does offer more free storage space than the market leaders.

File and folder syncing is rumoured for introduction via a future update, but it remains unclear whether this feature will be for premium account holders only.

MediaFire released a standalone app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad last year.

The MediaFire Android app is now available to download from Google Play.
