Broadband customers will have access to either 2GB or 50GB storage options, depending on what type of subscription they hold with the service provider.

Standard Broadband, Unlimited Broadband, BT Infinity 1 and Unlimited BT Infinity 1 are entitled to 2GB accounts, while Unlimited Broadband extra and Unlimited BT Infinity 2 can take advantage of the full 50GB.

There will also be the option to upgrade to 100GB, 250GB or 500GB accounts for a fee, but BT is yet to confirm prices.

BT Broadband users can activate their BT Cloud accounts now by logging onto the operator's website.
