The vintage Apple II+ computer has been recreated in LEGO, including the monitor, floppy disk drives and even the Apple logos.

Chiu-Kueng Tsang produced the detailed model of the computer, first on sale in 1979, and posted pictures on Flickr.

The modeller used beige bricks for the computer casing, clear ones for the Apple Monitor II screen and dark pieces for the front of the disk drives.

There are Apple logos dotted around the model, and the top of the computer unit is removable to see the parts inside.

The Apple II + was the second model in the Apple II series of 8-bit home computers produced by Apple co-founders, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

The series followed the hand-built Apple I, devised by Wozniak and the late Jobs in 1976, and financed by selling Jobs's Volkswagen van and Wozniak's HP-65 calculator.

The Apple I went on sale without a casing, keyboard, monitor or power supply, but the Apple II came as a full computer unit and proved a huge commercial success for the then nascent Apple.
