Carphone Warehouse is offering a free Galaxy Tab 2 to the first 2,000 customers who order the Android handset online.

The UK's largest mobile retailer is also bundling in an accessories kit comprising an in-car charger, screen protector and case, worth £65, for all customers who pre-order the device.

The 16GB Galaxy S4 will be available SIM-free for £629.95 through the retailer, while a free handset on contract will cost £41 per month for two years.

The Galaxy S4 has received more than four times as many pre-registrations through Carphone Warehouse as the Galaxy S3 managed last year.

EE has also opened its pre-orders for the device, offering various 4G packages starting at £31 per month. The Orange and T-Mobile merger is also throwing in the accessories kit for users who place their order between April 26.

The retailer's special launch offer is £79.99 on £41-a-month, 24 month plan which comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of mobile data a month.

Phones 4u is giving away a Galaxy Note 10.1 and a Galaxy Camera to one lucky pre-order customer each day until April 25.

All customers who order the device at a Phones 4u store will receive a free Google Play voucher worth either £100, £50, or £25 depending on the value of the contract they took out.

Three is undercutting its rivals by offering the Galaxy S4 on a two-year contract priced at £35 per month with unlimited data, 500 minutes of talk time and 5,000 texts.

O2 is offering unlimited calls and texts with 2GB of data at the more expensive price of £47 per month, though users can make savings in the long run by paying £99.99 for the handset upfront on a £37-per-month deal.

Vodafone is offering the same premium package as O2 for the less costly price of £42 per month on a two-year contract. Customers who trade in their existing handset are entitled to the same deal for £37 per month.

Virgin Media has announced plans to stock the handset but is yet to confirm its pre-order deals.

The handset will be released in the UK on all major networks on April 26.
