The phone's thumbnail seems to confirm the authenticity of S4 Mini images that were leaked in March.

The shrunken handset is said to be powered by a 1.66GHz dual-core processor and run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The Galaxy S4 Mini will allegedly feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 540x960 pixels and a pixel-per-inch count of 256ppi, making it larger than the Apple iPhone 5.

The device is expected to launch alongside a water and dust-proof edition dubbed the Galaxy S4 Activ.

Both handsets are expected to release in mid-July.

A Galaxy S4 Zoom is also said to be in development, offering a more powerful 16-megapixel camera than the standard 13-megapixel snapper.
