ITN and ntl in joint venture

Cable operator ntl and news broadcaster ITN have formed a joint venture, according to an announcement to ntl staff, which has not appeared on news services as yet. The two companies will produce ITN 24, a 24 hour news service to rival Sky News. In announcing the deal ntl said that this was just the first part of a new content strategy that would see a number of joint ventures announced over the coming months.
