Sky channels, personalities and programmes have scooped the pool at the prestigious Cable Guide Cable TV Awards.
Viewers from across the UK cast their vote for the prizes and gave a ringing endorsement to Sky, which won a total of seven awards - more than any other network.
Sky One was named both Favourite Entertainment Channel and Overall Favourite Cable TV Channel for the third year running. Sky News collected the award for best news channel, again beating a tough line-up of nominees including BBC News 24 and CNN.
Similarly, Sky Sports 1 was voted top sports channel, while Sky Movies scooped the title Favourite Channel for Film Choices.
Denise Van Outen, the star of Sky One's game show Prickly Heat and Sky Pictures' feature presentation Tube Tales, was crowned with the title of Most Popular Celebrity on Pay Television. And Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff, Angel, which screens on Sky One on Friday nights, picked up the award for Favourite New Series.
Managing Director of Sky Networks, Elisabeth Murdoch congratulated the award-winners.
"The sheer number of trophies is testament to Sky's achievements over the past year and the breadth and depth of our programming.
"The award for Sky News is to be especially applauded. Cable viewers are resolute in their support for the channel, despite the decision of some cable operators to drop it from their systems. The acclaim of Cable Guide readers clearly demonstrates Sky News's popularity and ratings success in Britain's cable homes."
The Cable Guide Cable TV Awards are voted for by around 3.5 million readers of Cable Guide magazine through a voting poll within the magazine and on the internet. This year Cable Guide readers cast more than 150,000 votes for their favourite shows.
