<font color=#CC0000>EXCLUSIVE:</font> UKTV channels to go off-air at 7am

Flextech has confirmed to Digital Spy that its UKTV network of channels will terminate transmissions on digital terrestrial television from 07:00 on May 1st, contrary to earlier reports which said the channels would go off air at midnight.
A spokeswoman for UKTV said: "The Administrators have been in touch with us confirming that operations will cease tonight and transmission will cease 7am tomorrow morning."
The UKTV network of channels, of which UK Gold, UK Style, UK Horizons and Play UK were transmitted on digital terrestrial, are a 50:50 joint venture between the Telewest content division Flextech and BBC Worldwide.
