Dave launch may require STB rescan

The launch of Dave - previously UKTV G2 - on Freeview may require a rescan for some set top boxes, UKTV has advised.
Some forum members have reported that un-rescanned boxes are showing Dave's programming on channel 12 instead of its proper location of channel 19, where it has replaced UKTV Bright Ideas.
A Top Up TV user has also reported that the electronic programme guide on Top Up TV Anytime boxes is not yet showing Dave's schedule despite the channel appearing in the correct location.
UKTV said today that they "strongly recommend" a rescan to ensure correct reception.
