CiTV will also now air from 6am-6pm all week after ITV acquired new capacity on SDN's multiplex. Previously the channel was only 6am-12.30pm at the weekend.
ITV4 previously aired 6pm-6am Monday-Friday and 12.30pm-6am on Saturday and Sunday.
"These changes are a direct response to the success of the ITV digital channels portfolio," said ITV Channels director of operations Jonathan Rogers.
"They reflect our strong commitment to this growth area of the business and offer an opportunity to further expand the depth and breadth of programming across the board."
