Sky's marketing chief is moving to parent company News Corp to become director of strategy for Europe and Asia.
Matthew Anderson, Sky's director of communications and brand marketing, is following in the footsteps of former Sky chief executive James Murdoch who became chairman and chief executive of News Corp's regional operations in December.
Anderson will lead communications, strategy, marketing and corporate and public affairs in his new post. He said News Corp was "changing the business of media in some of the biggest and most competitive marketplaces in the world".
Murdoch added: "Matthew's considerable experience across Europe and Asia combined with his ability to help companies stand out and grow will be a huge asset as News Corp continues its growth in key regions."
Sky has appointed Graham McWilliam as director of corporate affairs and Robert Fraser as director of corporate communications. It is looking to find a new director for marketing and customer communications.
