Telewest has announced it is offering free blueyonder installation if people sign up to the service today, the unofficial National Computing Day organised by the Computer Active magazine.
The installation of Blueyonder usually costs £50, but is waived when new subscribers call 0800 953 0467 and quote the phrase 'National Computing Day' - online registration is also available at the BY website.
Organiser of the day, Zoe Rouch, said: "One of National Computing Day's aims is to introduce people to cutting edge technology. October 4th is a perfect opportunity for some of Telewest Broadband's 4.5 million homes to take the high-speed plunge and get broadband internet access."
