MTV confirms EPG swap deal
Published Thursday, Apr 10 2008, 16:08 BST | By Dave West

MTVR has moved from position 201 to 161 and Paramount Comedy 2 +1 from 200 to 160.
Open Access 2 and 3 have taken channels 200 and 201 respectively.
The swap was made earlier this week as recorded on the Digital Spy Sky forum.
A spokesman for MTV Networks UK & Ireland said the company would not reveal financial details of the agreement, adding: "We struck a deal so we could move up the EPG and raise awareness for the two channels, which are both doing very well."
Last month Discovery UK paid Sumo.tv owner Cellcast £1.4m in a part-exchange deal for its prime 144 and 145 EPG positions.
