BBC Parliament on DTT with 1/4 screen video
Published Wednesday, Oct 16 2002, 14:51 BST | By Alan Jay
BBC Parliament is now running on DTT with the new 1/4 screen video format. Previously, only sound from the station was available for DTT viewers.
The new service has a BBCi style interface with access to the BBC Parliament timetable (red button), feedback info (green button), help (yellow) and return to BBCi (blue).
Pushing the BBCi button switches to the BBCi channel (channel 51).
The new service brings it closer in line with the offering on DSat which has recently changed to a widescreen presentation.
Also on DTT, the BBC are broadcasting banners on channels 701 and 702 (for interactive video), whilst 703 appears to be a text channel.
