Blueyonder to be sold in Carphone Warehouse

Telewest Broadband has announced a new partnership with retail chain Carphone Warehouse, that will see the cable operator's broadband internet service Blueyonder sold in 137 of the chain's stores.
Shoppers will be able to pick up a pack for £25; the pack includes installation by a broadband technician (we assume this means installation will be scheduled for a later date, rather than Telewest technicians actually being present inside the pocket-sized packs), and a CD-ROM containing info about broadband content. Installation is usually £50, but Telewest says the £25 price is a launch promotion; no date is currently set for a return to £50.
Telewest's managing director, Charles Burdick, said: "This launch is another step towards Telewest's goal to make broadband access as simple as possible. We are continuing with our aim to put the customer first and be the leading provider of broadband services in the UK."
"I'm delighted to commence our high street activity with such an innovative communications company as The Carphone Warehouse."
