The majority of BBC shows are now listed alongside other VOD content in Virgin's Catch Up TV section, Digital Spy forum members have reported.
The content is a significant addition to the total number of programmes and hours of content available on demand to Virgin cable television subscribers.
Virgin announced the move on Wednesday and it follows several weeks of iPlayer content being available via the red button on the BBC's linear channels.
The broadcaster has said the proportion of BBC TV shows available will continue to increase, and there are also plans to add radio programmes.
