Good quality for its cheap price. Friendly user interface, can be set almost instantly for recording. It records better than a VCR and the price is almost the same with a VCR

I purchased the LG DR7400 recorder from Curries for £39.97 with free 3 year instant replacement warranty. This is the fourth recorder I've owned over the last five years. The LG 7400 is by far the best. The menu bars and remote control unit are superb i.e., thumbnails and overwriting are so simple to execute compared with other makes. Recording and sound quality are excellent for such an inexpensive and basic model. Downloading photographs and home movies is a doddle. Best buy I've made in years.

Machine not working from day one - exchanged then within 8 weeks broken again. Only help from LG we will repair - why would you repair goods that are only 8 weeks old? Totally unsatisfactory bad machine - been put off totally purchasing any other LG goods.
