Bought a 7200 about 8 months ago, and has been absolutely reliable with excellent picture quality, especially via component. Originally bought mine for £2000 and thought it was a good deal then, but now they are less than £1500 they are an absolute steal.

At the time (1.5 years ago) this was the best choice for HD bar the Panasonic Pro monitors. It suffers from colour banding and odd artefacts but very few plasmas are better and those cost about 50% more. It HD performance is excellent - no scaling for 1080 and its a fantastic display for digital stills (also 1080). There are better displays but this is a very good overall package.

The Plasma is definatly the best at £1699.95. Fantastic picture performance especially through component and with some tweak even normal footage looks good. Remember that Hitachi make screens for lots of manufacturers including Philips. The best bet on getting one of these babie is at Richer Sounds. I got mine at London Bridge and a Samsung HD 950. Easily the best picture and now I am looking to get a Philips F/W box. buy it NOW
