(My First Choice Would Have Been A SONY Bravia), Overall This TV Is A Bit Of A Wildcard, Although I rate it as an excelent set to view HD content, I Chose It purely for HD Picture Performance For The Money, however, I Find certain things odd, hence my wildcard description, firstly, only one scart connection socket is provided (WHY?,)Secondly, No HDMI Socket, Only DVI (why not make it completely HD Friendly and fit both HD Connections, I am aware that both types of HD connection are compatible with each other apart from the audio is fed separately with DVI, (Are people not looking to cut down on wiring), also not all buyers are aware of the technical differences of connections, surely provision of connections are not costly to fit for these big electronic corporations. My Only Other Criticism is the speakers, although excelent at low volume, when you turn it up SLIGHTLY, They start to vibrate, even with the bass on the graphic EQ turned down, although this could just be a fault with my set, I dont know. I Have Been Told That They Also have a tendancy to develop a single dead pixel quite quickly. And Guess What, I Have One Dead Pixel! Although they are extremely tiny pixels on these sets. In Conclusion, Nothing Is Perfect, and I cannot be too harsh on the set, because I can remember paying £1299.00 for a SONY 32" CRT Set Back In 1998. I Paid £1050.00 For This LG 37" HD Set, making quite a large saving on the RRP at time of purchase earlier this year. However, I Get The Impression I Will be saying a similar thing about the cost of HD Sets In a few short years.
