All I can watch on the DVD palyer are copy DVD's. I'm totally hacked off with it. Would like to replace it but don't know were to start in finding a replacement.

ive just bought a second hand one for £80 from ebay and the sound quality has blown me away not bad considering my hifi is denon all knock off cds and dvd working fine if you get a chance go for one.

This system is very poor, first the manual is crap, then the player keeps freezing and jumping, of all the surround systems, i would give it 4 out of 10.

Excellent system had it for 9 months now and no problems whatsoever. Who needs a manual?!

Great sound. No problems with skipping/freezing. Also found it easy to operate. Thought the manual was OK. Dave, Oxon, how did you change to multi region?

Had to send the remote back twice so far cos it has stopped working, volume buttons go first then the whole thing, however, great system and sound quality, i think people just need to know how to work the player properly before saying it doesn't play anything else apart from DVD sound. Mine works fine. Read the manual again but try reading the English version people.

Excellent bit of kit, I have it hooked up to my X- box 360 and it works brilliantly, never had any problems playing DvD's and the sound on the system is fantastic. A brilliant buy.

A1 system - no problems with freeze , great surround direct from TV etc -plays all disks no problems -Great Value for money. Easy to change to multi region play -should come set for but doesn't.

Excellent Home Cinema system, never had any problems with it, everything is OK. Actually the manual is poor, could be better with more details, audio settings are a bit strange, never seen like this before. Sound and picture superb, powerful system. No jumping and freezing on any CDs

Had this system for around 4 months now, Never had any problems playing DVDs`s or listening to Sat TV. Excellent sound. The manual is O.K.ish but could of been better.

great system. everything has been working very well. no problems so far. by the way YOU CAN get surround sound on normal television. To do this you must: 1) hit the AUX button on the home cinema system remote control. do this until the TV SOURCE is found. - this lets the sound come through the speakers. 2) you may find no difference or sound is coming through only 2 of the speakers. If so: hit the sound button on the remote, this changes the sound settings from stereo > church > hall > movie > music etc. MOVIE AND MUSIC give sound through all speakers.

This is a very good system. Contrary to some responses that say the surround doesn't work with anything except the DVD player, this is because before you can listen to surround sound you need a DTS decoder; this comes with all good amplifiers. Movies never freezes on mine, concerning the system not playing +/-R/RW, some recorders requires you to finalise the DVD before you try to watch it on another player, if you don't do this there's bound to be trouble. Agree with manual, its crap for lack of better word, but overall this system is good.

Very confusing to set up but once you know to engage surround for tv excellant. surround on dvd excellant no freezes on mine yet ! only played 3 dvd`s so far. have to have it on zoom to avoid black line on top and bottom though, sound effects on rear speakers was good. have not tried any backups yet

This player keeps freezing and jumping, im using brand new and on hire DVD's all original. Haven't been able to watch a single one through all the way with out this unit freezing and jumping. I had it replaced and still the same!

nice player good picture and great sound, but beware if you have a lot of films backed up on other dvd disc's you will find it keeps freezing and jumping 1/3 of the way through.. what a let down...

This system is a nightmare to get wired up, the DVD player is the only thing on it that works with the surround sound, you can forget trying to get it to work on the TV, Video or any other piece of kit you want to hook up to it. However the sound is excellent when it works. The DVD is supposed to support DVD +/- R/RW disks, but disks recorded on Samsung do not work on it. Overall I am not impressed the manual is poorly written and does not explain the system properly at all.
