Will not synchronise properly. I'm lucky if I can load 50% of any track on to the system before it freezes. I have tried Media Player 10 and 11 and downloaded the file that is supposed to sort out any problems. Instructions are crap too, especially if you have no idea about technology! Waste of time and money. Back to the shop for a refund.

Bought two yesterday, decided to fill them up with songs for the kids at christmas. Can't even create a new folder.. Just stays in sleep mode and won't sync (using XP SP2, latest Media player) then discover notes which say DRM requires Windows XP SP2 - however the tech support on their website says; " A lot of customers have experienced problems with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). If you have WindowsXP SP2, we recommend that you go back to Windows XP SP1 before Microsoft solves the problem." Go figure what the hell that is all about! - nuff said back to COMET for a refund as they are not fit for purpose.

Mpman mpf57 2gb Im very happy with it have recorded video av1 mp3 sound, important as dvd players with usb ports will only recognise certain options.Much to my surprise it played fine which suggests the memory speed is adequate and no video lockouts.bought about 2 years ago when prices were high. Sound good quality but manual very limited and may not do it justice. Have not tested wma.My assessment of sound is based on my very limited hearing which means if I can hear sound clearly it should be good. This player is usb2 so assessment based on that profile, usb1.1 pc interface would in all likelyhood not perform well
