Apprentice star Jenny Celerier has been defended by her housekeeper.
Sales manager Jenny has been accused of being a ruthless bully after she was seen reducing her team-mate Lucinda Ledgerwood to tears in the latest episode of the BBC One series.
However, her housekeeper Bridget Armiger, who has known Jenny for seven years, has claimed that her friend is being stitched up by the show's producers.
"Last week they probably showed the worst bits of Jenny to make her look bad," Bridget told the Daily Star Sunday. "It must have been edited that way. I have been Jen's friend for seven years and I will be till my last living breath.
"That girl was such a wuss. If she cannot take criticism she should not be on the show. Jen did not do anything untoward to her. She has a very persuasive manner but she is not a bully."
Celerier's current boss Bill Rumble has claimed that she is "too good" to work for Sir Alan Sugar.
However, Shazia Wahab, the latest candidate to be eliminated on the programme, described her as a "really ineffective project manager" in a recent interview with DS.
