Kylie Minogue has agreed to make a guest appearance on Mathew Horne and James Corden's new comedy sketch show, according to a report.

The Aussie popstar has stayed in touch with Horne since he played her personal assistant on one-off ITV special The Kylie Show last year.

An insider told the Sunday Mirror: "Now she is returning the favour. Her name will be mentioned in some of the sketches before she appears as a punchline at the end of the series."

The comics were recruited for the BBC Three series following the success of their sitcom Gavin & Stacey.

Horne has previously admitted that he would like Catherine Tate to appear on the show. There have also been rumours that Lily Allen is involved in the project, but these have been denied by Corden.
