CBBC presenter Holly Willoughby has been poached by ITV to front their new Saturday morning kids show.

Willoughby will present the new 2-hour show alongside CITV presenters Stephen Mulhern and Michael Underwood from the New Year, directly competing with her former colleagues at the BBC.

The as-yet untitled programme is replacing SM:tv in a bid to overtake the BBC's Saturday Show in the ratings with a refocus of its target audience to 4-12 year olds.

CD:UK, which will stay on air after SM:tv ends, has been recommissioned to end 2004.
