'Pimp My Ride' goes international

MTV has given the go-ahead to a European version of popular car makeover series Pimp My Ride.

The show, airing on MTV stations this autumn, will feature candidates from all across Europe and will showcase Eastern European cars as well as Western models.

US musicians Fat Joe and Lil Jon have been named as hosts of Pimp My Ride International, which will be filmed in Alkmaar, Holland.

A second series of Pimp My Ride UK is also in the works.
