Among the celebrities set to appear are Orlando Bloom, Daniel Radcliffe, David Bowie, Chris Martin and Sir Ian McKellen – says The Sun.
In McKellen's episode he will be treated to a gay kiss with Ricky Gervais' character Andy Millman, says the newspaper. Bowie, meanwhile, gets to send the wannabe-actor away when he bribes his way into his dressing room.
Pirates of the Caribbean star Bloom apparently tries to date Milliman's friend Maggie in his role – but gets rejected. “Orlando demands she kiss him — but she refuses and he’s incensed," said an insider. "He’s not used to being treated like that. It’s brilliant — Orlando totally sends himself up.”
A source said Gervais was pleased with his signings. “Ricky had dozens of people ask for a part," explained the insider. “But the names he’s got are fantastic and Ricky’s chuffed to bits.
“Ricky feels a bit awestruck to be working alongside such big names, but he’s had a ball so far. The first series was a huge hit and Ricky was nervous that this series might not be as good. But he’s been really careful to cherry-pick the right stars.”
Radcliffe reportedly appears as a yob and BBC newsreader Moira Stewart gets caught in a cocaine deal. Others set to star, according to the paper, include Jonathan Ross, Richard and Judy, Diana Rigg, Richard Briers, Ronnie Corbett, Germaine Greer, Stephen Fry and the Holby City cast.
