Kevin Whately and Alison Steadman are to appear as a couple locked in a legal divorce battle in a new comedy drama for ITV1.

Called Who Gets The Dog?, the one-off piece follows Jack (Whately, Lewis) and Jenny (Steadman, Fat Friends) Evans, whose marriage of 27 years is on the rocks because of Jack's supposed affair with a woman named Pam.

Also on the cast are Stephen Mangan (Green Wing), Emma Pierson (Hotel Babylon) and Sinead Matthews (Ideal).
