Chris M: "Hey, as you probably know, Everwood season 3 is coming to a close next friday on ITV. Just wondering if ITV will show the 4th (last season)"
Neil: ITV has the rights but here's the bad news - it's not going to immediately follow the third.
Jenie: "Hey Neil,Excellent Column, 2 quick questions - is it true that this year is going to see the final vicar of dibley?"
Neil: I'm presuming you failed your Maths O-Level, Jenie. But yes, the Vicar will bow out in a two-part special this Christmas.
Rose: "Will there be another series of Bad Girls after the current one because i have heard rumours that this is set to be the final ... please tell me this isnt true?"
Neil: This is technically
Soap Scoop fodder but.. it could go either way, as the leaked email exchange between drama controller Laura Mackie and director of television Simon Shaps suggested. ITV has insisted that no decision has been made yet.
Ian: "Hey, Ive missed the first four episodes of the new season of 4400, do you know if Sky has any plans to repeat them in like a catch up session. I know some channels do this at the start of the season, (Prison Break channel 5)."
Neil: Sorry, I see nothing in the schedules at present.

Next week I'm pimping myself out to celebrities left, right and centre. If you have any questions for the cast of
Vincent (back in October), the kids from
High School Musical and
Afterlife / Ghostwatch creator Stephen Volk do drop me a line. Come back next week to hear Lesley Sharp chatting on (and on) about the new series of
Afterlife.
rexo: "hola rexo espero q te guste mucho okis chao luego t veo"
Neil: De nada, Rexo. ¿Me deseas?
Mhairi Heron: "When is season 2 of Grey's Anatomy starting on living?"
Neil: Last night (Thursday). Don;t worry if you missed it, though: it repeats Sundays at 10.
Ali: "I was completely addicted to Jane Hall, Is there going to be another series? If so do you know when?"
Neil: It hasn't been recommissioned yet but as one of the few "summer" shows to get a good reception, it's a strong bet.
Patrick: "Hey Neil. I was just wondering if you had discovered your American counterpart? You definatley seem to have aquired his humour! As long as you dont get addicted to Snapple, become a Smurfs fan, a vegeterian AND a fan of yawning bunnies, Im sure you can manage to stay unique! Anyway when can we expect Smallville? Anything good to expect?"
Neil: Snapple? Give me water any day. I actually campaigned against Smurfs in the mid-'90s and I love eating animals - especially bunnies. Smallville is back in Jan - more in the spoiler spot.
Hannah: "Hey! I was just wondering if any Terrestrial channel has plans to pick up season one of Bones? Because I love the show, and would love for everyone who doesn't have Satellite to be able to see it?"
Neil: That's the point, I'm afraid. Sky has the full set of rights to this show and won't be selling off the terrestrial part. It will probably pop up on Sky Three though.
Wendy Matthews: "Jane Hall final instalment... Missed the last five minutes what does she do"
Neil: Well she marries Rob but then goes and says "I do" to Richard as well.
Melissa: "hiya - do you know if and when prison break will be showed on channel five again. the second series has just started in america, i hate having to wait lol. please write back, thanx - fae melissa xox"
Neil: January for PB's return. And what a premiere...
James Stone: "Loving your colum im a new convert and love getting my weekly fix. Can you give me any info on Housewife, 49 the new Victoria Wood project? Start date etc? Not only is it written By Dame Victoria but also features the excellent David Threlfall as her husband but its not even on IMDB??? and I know you are better then them"
Neil: I am, but having said that chlamydia is better than IMDB at times. Although the show is listed as one of ITV's autumn highlights I'm actually told that it won't be airing until early next year. I'll serve you up some delicious scoop in the spoiler spot.

This week I have a ridiculous
TEN copies of
Stargate SG-1 volume 49 (that's the final volume of season nine, to you and me) to give away.

Dawn: "Do you think Sky will repeat the 2nd season of BSG before airing the third? We've loved the 1st season repeat on Sky 3! Also, do you think A Town Called Eureka will be renewed in the US. It was great up until last week's episode, which was a stinker."
Neil: No BSG repeats planned before the third. Eureka could go either way.
Jane: "Hi Neil, have ITV commissioned a third series of Life Begins?"
Neil: Yep - it's back on September 11.
Lee Bailey: "I was told that there was a new series of "Afterlife" being filmed, when is it due on our screens?"
Neil: Did you miss last week's Tube Talk?
Adam: "Do you have any idea if E4 will pick up the american series of Big Brother anytime soon? They've only showed one season and I think the US show would be a good replacement when the UK version isn't on."
Neil: It would, I agree - but to my knowledge there are no plans for US BB to be shown over here again.
Alison Ray: "do you know if Captain Jack will appear in the next series of Doctor Who?"
Neil: Yes - he's back in the final episode.
Lee: "Is the Australian Drama "Love My Way" ever coming to the UK?"
Neil: Funny you should ask: it's been picked up for Five Life and will air from October 18.
Marie: "Any more plans to show the English version of The Mole?"
Neil: No - neither for new episodes or repeats. Challenge apparently looked at the latter but the costs were prohibitive.
Davey: "Seen the first episode of Traveler... one question; When is this likely to be aired on ABC? Only seen 45 minutes and I'm hooked."
Neil: I expected to be hooked but came away feeling like they could have done it so much better. It's looking like January/February for ABC.
Nick: "I know it's early, but have ITV2 bought season 2 of entourage to show straight after season 1?"
Neil: Yes - and it will follow straight on.
Gary E: "Will ITV 2 or 3 be showing the first Series of Afterlife before the new season begins on ITV1 in Septemeber ?"
Neil: It airs on ITV3 every night at 10pm from next Sunday (September 10).
Jonathan: "I've been watching clips of The Maury Show on YouTube and I was just wondering if or when it would be returning to UK TV once again since Living stopped broadcasting it some time ago."
Neil: Well we now have Ellen so this is my next target. The "Give Me My Maury Show (Please)" campaign starts here.
Stephen: "I heard Kyle XY has been confirmed for a second series, but still no sign of it in the UK. Do you know any secrets about anyone showing this series here?"
Neil: Good news. I've been told that Disney are "very close" to signing a deal for this show with a UK broadcaster.
Dan: "Hi Neil. Just wondering if any of the UK channels have picked up the rights to NBC's Conviction? I know it wasn't picked up for another season but from what I've seen it looks quite promising. Any news for a UK airing or has it's cancellation put our networks off? ITV4 screen quite a few cancelled shows so maybe our best chance of seeing it is on there?"
Neil: Five US has this from October 16.
Nige: "I wonder if you could use you supreme insider knowledge to let us know if Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes will be heading our way, and if so, when?"
Neil: Also on five US from the same date. The axed Windfall begins on November 20, incidentally.

As always, select the area to the right of each programme to read the text - but be warned that you may well be spoiled.
Smallville: The premiere sees the introduction of Jimmy Olsen, an "adorable" guy who gets it together with Chloe. A few episodes in there are flashbacks to Lex's troubled time at school. As spoilers go, I'd say that's pretty uninspiring but hey, that's all I've got. Smallville premieres in JanuaryHousewife, 49: The show is st in Barrow, Furness at the start of the Second World War. Woods stars as Nella Last, a housewife who is recovering from a nervous breakdown when her younger son Cliff leaves to join the army. Distraught, she begins writing a daily account of her life for Mass Observation, a government project aimed at examining the lives of ordinary people. Threlfall does appear as her controlling husband.Send your requests for shows to be featured in the Spoiler Spot to the usual place.
That's it for now - more next Thursday. Probably.
