Coronation Street star Antony Cotton is being tipped to host his own chat show for ITV.
Television executives apparently realised how popular the actor is after he was voted as the winner of Soapstar Superstar last weekend.
A source revealed: "He doesn't want to leave Corrie but would love to take on this other project if he can fit them both in."
Cotton confirmed that he was interested in taking on new projects in a recent interview with DS.
