The 'Amazing' singer is apparently a huge fan of the Ricky Gervais comedy and "immediately agreed" to be part of the final episode, which airs this Christmas.
Gervais recently spoke of his burgeoning relationship with Michael, admitting that he had received a special gift from the former Wham! star. "I have got a bottle of champagne in the fridge - and beat this - it's from George Michael. He gave me it after I supposedly called him a bender at an awards ceremony, if you believe what you read in the press. It was actually part of a joke that I ran by him first that he loved."
