Season 2 rocked!! Cant believe there is people not into it! When you consider they had to cut the season short because of the writers strike i think they did a brilliant job! I was definately left dying for more at the end of every episode counting down the days till the next one! Bit of a slow pick up like in season 1 but nothing that can form any kind of negative!

Personally, season 2 was nothing more than an interlude for the heroes to find themselves and deal with a seperate problem, introduce new heroes and for Sylar to recover. Now it's at square one: Sylar's back, Peter knows what's going on finally (sort of), and it's likely another faceoff will end season 3 between the two once again. Don't want to type any spoiler theories so i'll leave it at that ;)

In answer to S.Ahmed. I would say that the powers originate (are controlled) from the brain (that's why Sylar eats the Heroes brains). I really can't understand the negative reactions to season 2. Was I watching the same show as everyone else? It had more action, took less time to build up to it and took the characters in interesting new directions. Love Matt's new abilities and Mohinder and Peter's moral ambiguitity. Good to see Hiro starting to grow up. Maya is a bit annoying but Elle is an interesting character. It also had some great one liners too - "You've gone native!" "Did you pack Mr. Muggles doggy bath?" I think that Nathan is probably done for. Think about it - In every future that they've been to, Nathan is dead. I can only pray that Tim Kring doesn't ruin the show by pandering to the masses. Season 2 rocks!

I thought the season was good just NOT GREAT. NEW CHARACTERS were introduced, but I felt they MISSED a plotline to use THE TWINS - It would have been interesting to see what powers the BROTHER may have had adn how it complimented his sisters power. The Finale was decent, adam NOT dead, and questions about Nikki and Nathan. More time should be spent on addressing WHAT POWERS the older generation have and let them use them! Imagine daughter against father etc - THE ISSUE about saving a dead persons life with claire/adams blood shoul be MADE CLEAR (Like how healers can be killed with a shot to the brain) - This issue threatens to CHEAT the viewer if ALL dead characters COULD come back to life. Put some conditions down (with artistic licence) just dont cheat the viewers. SYLAR should NOT form the CRUX of season 3 but NEW villians should emerge, as well as NEW characters from various parts of the WORLD!

i love heroes and had to watch it each week, but it was me pushing myself to watch it incase something amazing happened not because I was gripped. I think vol. two missed the mark on many occasions and made so many new characters to a degree pointless. I really wanted to like Maya and unless something amazing happens with her in the next series, she will have been an interchangable plot device. I think I just proved my point subconsiously there, I am not gripped on the characters but if something may happen to change them. I think the only saving grace this series is peter and nathans mother.

well i was shocked at the ending of volume two. But as ive seen on some forums. The explosion of NY will still happen. EVERY other painting from Isaac Mendes has came true. that is the only one yet to. maybe they postponed the explosion. Peters girlfriend. she was stuck in the future with the virus. so since they changed that, she must have been wiped from existence. Also i liked the revelation that Adam, Peter and Claire can die. If you take their head off. Obviously Nathans not going to die. They just need Peters blood dont they?

I heard a rumour sometime earlier this year that series 2 was going to have a completely new set of characters - I still maintain this would have been a great idea and way better than what we ended up with. Without spoiling series 2 for anyone that hasn't been at the torrents, it just felt for the first few episodes as if it was more like an extended epilogue. All the characters had some manner of a satisfying ending to the first series and then they go and drag them all back and try to think of more problems for them to have, which all seem trivial compared to nuking Manhattan. It does improve as it goes on but what with the writer's strike it's just generally been a bit of a bad year for Heroes period. Oh and the last scene in series 2? I really really hope they don't base series 3 on that, that barrel's been scraped enough.

Season 2 was great IMO sure the pacing was a little off but overall it worked well i think people just got pissed at the Hero in the past thing could of been done over 2 eps and given more screen time to the present day story. Big disaster should of been in ep 3 at the latest kept us waiting way to long but then i guess they thought they might have longer to tell the story. So much that was good in the last episode who did it? oh and the bit with Adam at the end LOVE IT! how long till he claws his way back into the story i wonder. Peeps who say Season 2 sucked i wouldnt worry about it Kring will sort it out i cant think of a single long running franschise that hasnt had its poor season. Stargate S9, atlantis !3, Battlstar S1(ducks the fraks) flashgordon S1 (please god dont make anymore)

All I have to say is a good build to a series then everything rushed into one last episode. What happened to Peter Petrelli's Girlfriend? As everyone else cannot wait for season 3, anyone have any idea when that will air in the US. I am assuming after the writers strike?

I quite liked the finale of volume 2 though I agree there were too many things unanswered. I guess they had to wrap it up quickly due to the strike but it left the ending feeling slightly rushed.

I thought the Season Two finale was great. It could have done so much more but seeing the moment when ?? got ?? was totally unexpected. I wonder who done it? Also here to not seeing so much Sylar in Volume Three. We need more Villians. Jessica and Sylar working together anyone?

I enjoyed Season 2 throughout - the final episode was superb and provided a real shock at the end. I am disappointed that there was not enough time for two of the new characters, Monica and Maya, to be explored more - but I guess that can happen in the next chapter of the story. Christine Rose (Angela Petrelli) should be a main part of the cast - who was she talking to on the 'phone?

Thought the volume two finale was much better than volume one, it seemed less rushed and had more drama. Shame volume two in general has been a monumental disappointment.
James, Kent on December 5th, 2007
Slightly disappointed by the ending of volume two, didn't answer enough questions for me and didn't feel as though any progress has been made from volume 1. But considering the circumstances as to why it ended so soon, i guess i can't complain.

Loved series 1 and just finished series 2. Well impressed. It can only get better. I hope the BBC will show it in HD soon as its the only way to go.
