Good appetite for 'Love Soup' revival

The comedy drama, which has been revived for a second run after a two-year break, attracted 4.2m viewers, or a 19.1% share, at 9pm. The audience was roughly the same size as for its first run, though it could not beat the channel's 5.6m (25.5%) slot average.
It beat The Bourne Supremacy which aired on ITV1 from 9pm and reached 3.4m (16.9%).
ITV1 scored the night's ratings hit though, with Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway attracting 6.9m (32.6%) at 6.45pm. Its audience was securely higher than that of Eurovision – Your Decision, which was seen by 5.1m (23.7%) on BBC One.
At 8.10pm BBC One took the lead, Casualty drawing 7.1m (31.2%), while Duel only earned 3.6m (15.8%) for ITV1 from 8pm.
Five's diet of US dramas again performed well for the channel. From 8pm NCIS attracted 1.6m (7%) then, at 9pm, CSI: NY made 2.6m (11.9%). BBC Two's Coast took 1.7m (7.6%) at 8pm then, at 9pm, Have I Got News For You was watched by 2m (9.2%).
Channel 4 trailed the night among the terrestrials. Grand Designs Revisited reached 1m (4.6%) at 8pm then Sense and Sensibility took 1.4m (7.7%) from 9pm.
