Sir David Jason has revealed that he nearly threw up while filming The Colour Of Magic.

The 68-year-old plays wizard Rincewind in the Sky One adaptation of the first book in Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' series.

But he told Teletext that he almost lost his lunch while shooting a stunt for the production, saying: "I was suspended upside down on wires for the sword fighting.

"I could only manage around four to five minutes each time before I wanted to deliver a technicolour yawn!"

Pratchett fell to his knees before Jason on stage during last night's premiere of the film, which also stars Christopher Lee, Tim Curry and Sean Astin.
