This is starting to become a habit. Four weeks in a row I've managed to answer your questions, profferring myself for relentless interrogation about all manner of shows from this side of the pond and t'other.
But you know what? Secretly, I think I quite like it. Yes, I'm getting rather fond of this Q&A thing. Let's go!
Brad: "How do I know if the tube in my TV is gone? I get great sound but no picture!"
Neil: My initial enthusiasm is quickly deflated.
Lucy: "Any idea if Living are going to show the 3rd series of Australia's Next Top Model? It's my favourite of all the top models!"
Neil: Season three struts onto Living 2 from July. This season there's a new host in the form of
Jodhi Meares after the previous host was ditched for breaching her contract by appearing on a rival TV network.
Holly : "Hi- Very excited that TT is back, answering the many questions I have about my favourite tv shows, except one - Third Watch. I understood that C4 had the rights to season 6, but then FX started showing the programme from the beginning and then cut it halfway through season 3. I have written to FX asking if they will be showing season 6, but they have not replied. You are my last resort! Thankyou."
Neil: FX tell me they have previously aired seasons one to four and will follow this up with season five in May. Season six will air in September once it comes into licence from C4.
Bonnie Pointer: "Love Tube Talk very much and was just wondering if you knew the start date of Pushing Daisies on ITV1 and for the new season of Criminal Minds on Living? Thanks for any help you can give me."
Neil: I can give you both! New Criminal Minds - this season features a new cast member, Joe Mantegna, to replace someone who leaves very suddenly - plays out on Living from April 4 at 9pm. As for Pushing Daisies, I'm hearing this will go out on ITV1 on Saturday nights from April 12. An odd decision? Leave your views at the end of the column.
stuart: "I'm a massive fan of The Amazing Race. Is there any news on when living or Challenge TV will be showing it?"
Neil: I'm told there is no more TAR planned for Living or Challenge at the moment, although season nine is currently playing out Saturdays at 6pm on Living 2.
Sarah: "Hi, I am one of those sad people who doesn't have Sky but has got Freeview. I really enjoyed the first season of Bones on Sky 3 and had hoped that once Season 3 started on Sky One Season 2 would come around on Sky Three but I keep checking the listings and nothing. Tell me am I going to have to buy the DVD's or will my wait be worth it."
Neil: Of course any wait will be worth it as far as Bones is concerned. There is no sign of season two on Sky Three for the foreseeable, however at just £18 on the likes of Amazon and Play, getting the DVD is surely a worthwhile investment?
Chris Walker: "Hi Neil, firstly I want to say how you you always seem to be thinking exactly what I am about shows - good, bad or whether you think they will be cancelled! But I want to ask, how do you find the time to watch all the shows you talk about?! I have to prioritise! Is it part of your job? If it is, then well done!"
Neil: Thanks, Chris. It is tough but this is (part of) my job. Of course I don't have time to watch everything, but then again, who needs all three versions of CSI anyway?
Lawrence: "I remember seeing a trailer saying that Chuck was 'coming soon' to Virgin 1, I don't suppose you might know how soon that might be?"
Neil: Sooner than a month. Probably one of the season's best new shows,
Chuck plays out Mondays at 10pm from April 7. As always, keep checking
The PLP for the latest dates.
Melanie: "What is Channel 4 thinking of putting Brothers & Sisters on E4 only?! This show is amazing, heart-warming... the best drama to come out of America in ages! Why can't they keep it on C4 where more people can watch? They should put it on after Desperate Housewives or something, even if it is at 11pm, it's better than E4."
Neil: The problem is, more people didn't watch when they were given the opportunity first time around. The good news is that the similarish Dirty Sexy Money goes out on Channel 4, Fridays at 9pm, beginning March 21.
Dashy: "Is it likely that the hit American reality show Survivor will be shown in our screens in the UK anytime soon, because i'm tired of watching it in youtube?"
Neil: It's not looking good. Challenge experimented with showing it a few years' ago but unfortunately it just didn't rate very well (just like the UK version on ITV). It is still huge in the US though, so the economics of buying it in over here aren't especially favourable right now.
Alan O'Connor: "Hiya! Any idea when The Friday Night Project will be returning to Channel 4?"
Neil: It's back next week, after the aforementioned Dirty Sexy Money. First guest presenter is Elle MacPherson, followed the week after by David Tennant!
Thom: "Hi Neil. Long-time-reader, first-time-questions-askerer. Battlestar Galactica: The damned writers' strike stopped production apparently and Ron Moore said that might be it for the series and they might never go back and finish it (which sucks ass). Do you know anything more? Or, can you give me the money to get a plane ticket so I can fly over and ask Ron what he's going to do (Ron, Ron)? Cheers dood."
Neil: Not sure that's necessary, my man. Production on Battlestar resumes this month! The first half of the final season will go out in the UK just days after the US, Tuesdays at 9pm from April 8.
Kareena: "Hi, channel 4 aired the series 8 of Charmed some time last year, claiming it was the last series. but in the US there has been a 9th and a planned 10 series (not sure id it has aired yet). do you know if channel 4 or 5 are planning to bring it back. If not is any other Uk channel going to air the new series. thnx"
Neil: I didn't want to end Tube Talk on a low note this week but I'm sorry, miss, you appear to be mistaken. There was no ninth season of
Charmed and certainly not a tenth. There was
some talk of spinoff shows but all of these are long since buried.
