Jones, who plays Nessa in the BBC Three comedy, admitted that she was tempted to release a version of the 1983 single 'Islands In The Stream', which she performs on the show with Brydon.
She told The Sun: "The fans want us to release it as a Christmas single. There’s already a group on Facebook and I’m up for it."
The original version of the track was an American number one for country stars Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
Gavin & Stacey picked up the Sky+ Audience Award at the BAFTAs on Sunday, beating Strictly Come Dancing, Britain's Got Talent and The Apprentice to the title.
